Product Development - AOFER works diligently with the customer to ensure design intent is met and the best materials and fabrication techniques are implemented. We ensure that form, fit and functionality of the product is maintained as we work through the iterative process of taking the design ideation to sketches, to shop drawings, to samples, and to production (Idea, Concept, and Implementation).When cost is an obstacle, AOFER has the ability to transform at-risk over budget projects into affordable successful projects. Design Engineering - AOFER maintains a team of highly skilled design engineers that are very adept in taking product design and turning it into AutoCAD shop drawings incorporating all material specifications, sizes and construction detail. We do this using two or three dimensional drawings that are used for eventual manufacturing. These drawings serve as the record of reference to ensure the final product is produced according to customer requirements.
Value Engineering - We utilize our legacy of manufacturing knowledge to engineer each product such that the best value for the investment is provided. AOFER does this by looking at various material and construction options to ensure that the product will provide a solid return for the customer per their investment dollar.
Project coordination- Project management is one of the company’s major strengths. Each of our experienced project managers is with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering large projects for international hotel brands. We focus on working collaboratively with furniture designers at every stage of a project. We can be present in the region throughout the project to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Value Sourcing - AOFER maintains supply partnerships with multiple material providers located all around the world. We are constantly searching and sourcing the best value for various materials and parts. If we can‘t find what we are looking for, AOFER will custom make the materials or parts in-house or through one of many manufacturing partners we work with.
Quality Management - AOFER maintains a staff of quality management personnel within our factories throughout the entire manufacturing process for material selection, to equipment set-up and maintenance, to factory floor safety, to machining, to finish, to assembly, and to packaging. This is done to ensure the production is consistent and repeatable through the manufacturing process and the final product that goes in the box has been inspected and is defect free.
Warehousing - AOFER maintains warehouses at both our factory locations. These warehouses are climate controlled, with the proper equipment and processes to handle the goods. By having these warehouses AOFER can service the customer requirements based on project site and warehousing needs. At these locations we can stage and load exact quantities of product per the project mix and installation schedule. We also have the ability to provide local warehousing through our third party provider in any location.
Transportation & Installation - Each product is tightly packed in 4 layers in accordance with international standards, and cooperates with superior logistics service providers to ensure the products safety arrival. AOFER maintains a staff of field installation & service technicians that can travel on-site for model room set-ups, complete construction phase installation of all items including goods made by other manufacturers, touch-up and deluxing, and in the unlikely event a quality issue arises, repair and/or replacement.
Service - AOFER maintains a service part operation with a stock of common parts (hardware, pulls, slides,glides, fixtures....) used in that particular project as well as the ability to quickly procure additional partsin order to allow quick shipment and ease of replacement. We also can quickly produce replacement parts (legs, doors, drawers....) and / or units in the event a part or item is damaged in use.
